An exciting email arrived into my inbox this morning that I would like to share with you: Merci Merci, the incredible Parisian homeware and fashion concept store, just launched its e-commerce store and new website.  Now you don’t have to travel all the way to Paris to shop there- not that travelling to Paris is a bad thing. It’s a convenience factor!

Merci Merci’s e-commerce store was in the making for quite some time now.  I know because I’ve been watching the space.  Upon receiving the email, I spent a solid 10 to 15 minutes of my morning browsing through their tableware and accessory collections and I APPROVE!  It’s terrific. C’est magnifique!!

Last time I visited Merci Merci I came home with a bamboo salad bowl, a pack of Bougies Trouee La Francaise and two “Bag of Light” candles from Raumgestalt.  Trust me, I could have stayed in the store for hours and purchased quite a bit more but I was in the process of moving countries and was on a mission to downsize and de-clutter.  Upon reflection, the candles were a good choice living in Copenhagen where candles seem to be lit all day and all night!

If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit Merci Merci, the next time you are in Paris, you must.  Write it down somewhere, trust me.

02 The serrated edge Chopping Board (porcelain)- I would use it as a serving platter instead of a chopping board by Eno Studio/Paola Navone

03 Wooden Cutlery (set 3 pcs) by Alessandro Zambelli – Perfect for an outdoor party or something indoors- just to be ironic and environmentally friendly.

04 75 cl Pitcher by Jars Ceramistes – You can never have too many pitchers for flowers or beverages.

05 Roll of 11cm tear off napkins by MyDrap– Napkins on a roll! How smart is that invention? It’s paper towel meets cute napkins.
