The summer entertaining season is nearly in upon us and we want to brighten your tablescape.  Piggybacking off of our ‘colourful’ articles in Issue 03 of Countlan magazine, we selected one of the brightest brands we know for our next giveaway: French Bull.

Winning one of these vibrant melamine plates is easy! Each one of the following activities gives you one entry into the contest. On June 10th, 2013 we’ll announce the winner on the Countlan Blog.

    ma favorite salade is : Iceberg salad well diced with fresh red onions, green orange and red peppers, and diced apples with a white sauce : Miracle whip/ a little cream so sauce is thick but smooth/ 3tblsp of apple juice/ 2 light squirts of lemon juice/ fresh diced parsley / a little onion salt / and to finish croûtons et voila

    chicken Caesar salad is by far the best, the fresh crisp lettuce, the crunch of the croutons, the yummy chicken and mayo and o course who can forget the scrumptious bacon!!!!

  9. My favourite Salad is ….. Roasted Vegetable Salad.

    I roast Aubergine, Courgette, Red Onion, Butternut Squash and Baby Carrots in Olive Oil, Seasoning, Fresh & Dried Chilli, and herbs (either Coriander or Basil). Let them cool and mix gently in a bowl with a lovely Balsamic Vinegar & Garlic Oil dressing – delicious either warm or cold with crusty bread!

    This weekend I had a Goats Cheese and pepper tart salad with beef and pea arancini. Rather nice..especially with a glass of white wine

    I love tomato, mozzarella and basil salad with freshly baked, hot, crusty bread rolls and a lovely chilled glass of wine. Delish, especially, when dining al fresco on a hot summer’s day!
