Five Conversation Pieces for Spring
Last fall, we met Tracey George, the owner of online shop, Koromiko and someone who is passionate about all things local, handmade and design. With the design fairs in full swing, Tracey shares with us some of her favourite table conversation pieces for the spring and what is coming down the pipeline in her shop.
01 Nesting Bowls by Karin Lorenc: The colors make me so happy! I could use these every day, no matter what the season.
02 Uashmama Paper Bags: (See Issue 05) These washable paper bags are so unique and perfect for storing everything from potatoes, onions and other kitchen supplies to using as a decorative object in your home.
03 Nordic Blue Kitchen Furoshiki: Wrap your dishes to take on Spring picnics or for a potluck dinner. Can also be used as an apron. I love that they are eco-friendly and have multiple uses!
04 Coloured Ceramic Spoons by Suzanne Sullivan: These spoons encompass everything I love about handmade objects. Each one is different and each one is like a mini work of art. The bright glaze colors are perfect for spring.
05 Pink Serving Board by Treehorn Design: (See designer story here) This Australian maker’s boards are perfect for serving cheese, breads, or fruit.
