The idea behind Luxe City Guides came to Grant while attending a party in Singapore.   At the party, he was handed a list of travel recommendations that were not to be missed in Bangkok.  The list revealed hidden artisanal shopping destinations and private services, which reminded him of the list he had written for friends before he left Bangkok and moved to Hong Kong over 15 years ago.  The rest is history.
